How Sure is Your Foundation?

This is the parable found in Matt 7:24 where Jesus talks about building on HIM as a foundation rather than sand.  The key to this parable is that his audience is those following him, so he is saying that his own followers can build on the wrong things.  This is an ideal opportunity to contrast true Christianity and false Christianity, contrast the humble truth with the glitter and glamour of the name of Christ used for earthly gain…
