Do the Unborn Have Rights?
Luke 1:44 “For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy.”
A woman’s right to choose. A woman’s right to privacy. Lose your choice lose your freedom – a woman’s body is her most prized possession. All of these slogans are centerpieces of the unending controversy surrounding abortion – a legal procedure. But SHOULD it be legal and so accessible? Are there reasons to doubt its place in our world, for the sake of the unborn AND the sake of the potential mothers? Stay with us as we look into this VERY difficult subject and try and establish a biblical perspective on, rights, life and courage in the face of great challenge…

What are the rights of those who have not been born again in the spirit of Christ? Are they not the same as an unborn child? A woman or girl who hides in the church seeking forgiveness looks to the church leaders for understanding but leaves with a guilty heart. If they told her to look to Jesus for forgiveness and understanding and told her they forgive her surely Jesus would forgive her too. Jesus would also tell her that her unborn children are saved too. Jesus said how can you know the things of heaven if you don’t know the things of earth. Those who have abortions an those who perform abortions don’t know. We must pray to Jesus our father in heaven and ask that they be forgive because they know not what they do. What rights does anyone have if there isn’t anyone to pray for them. Save the mother and you save the unborn child, so all have rights to the kingdom of heaven. Remember, the power of forgiveness is the only power we have.
